Jimmy’s passion for fitness started at an early age, as a young kid aspiring to be a D1 swimmer. Unfortunately, due to a rotator cuff injury, his competitive swimming career ended early. In an attempt to fill the void, Jimmy discovered his love for Weightlifting and CrossFit at the University of Maine while pursuing his undergraduate and master’s degrees in exercise science. He has been a Weightlifting and CrossFit coach in multiple gyms across the east coast, as well as a water polo coach, and has helped coach division one athletes at the University’s sports performance facilities. Jimmy also worked as a graduate assistant, teaching undergraduate labs in the kinesiology department.
